|RouterStatsHub - User-defined Graphs|
User Defined Graphs
Initially the two User-defined graphs are set to plot the total CRC Errors and HEC Errors but either graph can be configured to show any of the following by selecting from the drop down list:
Note that, if [none] is selected from the drop-down list, the graphs will plot a grey-cloured line at zero. It's necessary to do this to keep the timeline of all the graphs "in sync". However, the graph images will not be captured and the data will not be saved in the log.
I know the Home Hub calls these Events but I use the word used by most other routers, ie: Errors!
Over a period of time, some of these errors can grow very large and the graph becomes less and less useful. One option is to narrow the range of the graphs by dragging the vertical axes but it is often more beneficial to plot the errors over a shorter period of time.
The two radio buttons associated with each User-defined graph provide the option to plot the total errors or the errors accrued over the last hour.
To make it easier to compare graphs, both use the same 1 hour timer. The timer is running all the time RouterStatsHub is running. When one of the Errors in last hour is selected, the 1 hour timer will be reset unless the other Errors in last hour is already running the timer. In this case, the second Errors in last hour will run for the remainder of that hour; then both graphs will begin the next complete hour together.
If the total errors are very high, selecting Errors in last hour will cause the graph's vertical axes to re-adjust to near-zero. Due to some graphical limitations, this can confuse the graph-drawing operations. If possible, it's better to select the required checkbox before any graph-plotting begins.
