Morse Machine
-------------

A simple 'Morse Tutor' program for MS Windows 3.1, 95 and 98.

1. Unzip Morse.exe, Morse.cnt and Morse.hlp to any convenient directory
   and create a desktop shortcut to Morse.exe

2. Unzip INPOUT16.DLL and CMDIALOG.VBX into your Windows\System\
   directory.

3. The program requires VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows\System\
   directory. This is often available on computer magazine
   cover disks and is also available at my website (address below).

The Morse Machine uses the PC's internal speaker so a soundcard
isn't required.

A Morse key, or other external source, may be connected to the PC's
Game/joystick port - pins 2 and 4.

      v_____o--------------> Pin 2 (Joystick Button-1)
        ^---o--------------> Pin 4 (Ground)

   Morse Key             15-pin D-Type Plug.

Known problem! - Generating the Morse tones has a high priority so,
when the "Stop" button is pressed, it's action may not be
immediately apparent. It is particularly noticeable if the Delay
scrollbar is set to a high value. The problem doesn't affect
switching between other Windows tasks.

The Help System does not work in Windows 3.1
