How Computers Work
A personal computer is a collection of electronic devices some
of which - like the keyboard - are able to generate numbers in electronic form, while others
- like the display monitor - are able to accept those numbers as 'input' and react in a precise and
predictable way depending upon the value of the number.
But exactly what are numbers in electronic form and what determines how each device will react?
