Setting the Timebase Speed
These pictures show the effects of setting the timebase speed, from left to right,
too slow, just right and too fast. In the first picture, it is impossible to pick
out individual cycles of the waveform, while, in the third picture, it is difficult to
get an overall 'picture' of a complete cycle. Note, though, that the the timebase running
as shown in the third picture could be suitable if we are trying to pick up a
fast 'pulse' or 'blemish' on the waveform.
